Attach an IP interface to a NVMe/TCP endpoint

Unisphere provides monitoring and management for Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe/TCP) directors, NVMe/TCP ports, NVMe/TCP endpoints, IP interfaces, and IP routes.

Steps

  1. Select a storage system running PowerMaxOS 10 (6079).
  2. Select System > iSCSI+NVMe and click NVME tab to open the NVMe dashboard.
  3. Click IP Interfaces.
  4. Select an IP interface and click Attach.
  5. Select whether to attach to an existing or new NVMe/TCP endpoint and do one of the following depending on your selection:
    • Existing:
      • Select a NVMe/TCP endpoint from the list.
    • New:
      • Type a value for the Endpoint Name.
      • Optional: Type a value for TCP Port. The default value is 4420. Valid values range from 1 through 65535.
  6. Click OK.
    If you switch between the New and Existing selections, the system only applies the changes from within your last selection.
  7. Click OK to confirm your changes.
